Edukia • Map of bidegorris

Gipuzkoa has an important network of Bidegorris, cycling routes that allow you not only to get some exercise, but also explore different towns and villages by bicycle.

In the case of Hernani, there are important cycle paths that connect both with the capital of Gipuzkoa, Donostia, and with important towns in the surrounding area, such as the route that links Donostia with Beasain and the route that links Donostia with Andoain.

In addition to the bidegorris, there are cycle tourism routes such as the GI-3410, which links Hernani with Goizueta, and the N-634, which links Donostia with Mutriku.

Among these, we suggest the following routes:

Donostia - Hernani - Andoain

From any point on the Donostia Bidegorris network you can link up with the route that goes to Hernani.

Following the course of the Urumea River, you will leave the centre of the capital of Gipuzkoa to pass through the neighbourhoods of Loiola and Martutene. After going through the town of Astigarraga, you will reach Hernani in an average time of 30 minutes.

This is a very pleasant, well-signposted, low-difficulty cycling route. You can continue along the Bidegorri to Andoain, going through the town of Urnieta. For lovers of greenways, this is the link with the Plazaola Greenway.

Hernani - Goizueta

A classic route, very popular with cyclists in the area. This covers around 25 km of road, following the course of the Urumea River. It is a fresh and ideal route to discover the scenic beauty of this area, as well as the neighbourhoods of Zikuñaga and Ereñotzu. A visit to the village of Goizueta is also worthwhile, both for its beauty and the character of its people.

Donostia - Hernani - Mutriku

A beautiful route that starts in the El Antiguo neighbourhood of Donostia, before going to Hernani and, from there, passing through the town of Lasarte-Oria, continuing along the N-634 road until it reaches Mutriku.
