Leitzaran Interpretation Centre (Andoain)

Leitzaran: much more than a route in the heart of nature

Located in the neighbouring town of Andoain, the Leitzaran Visitor Centre is a must-visit place if you are going to spend a few days in our region.

An iconic part of the Basque landscape and offering multiple options, it was declared a Protected Biotope in 1995.

There are different routes starting from the Interpretation Centre that can be enjoyed on foot or by bicycle, along which you can discover the majestic countryside in this valley. There are routes of varying difficulties, including the Plazaola Greenway. This is a perfect plan for people who love nature, sport or outdoor leisure activities.

The Centre also offers other activities related to the area, such as the Via Ferrata, which allows you to see Leitzaran from another perspective and that includes, for example, a section of the route that can be taken by zip-line.
