Ereñotzu

For centuries, the Urumea River has been very important for Hernani. Neighbourhoods such as Ereñotzu and Fagollaga have either been built along the banks of the river or taking advantage of flood plains.

This route gives you the opportunity to discover the historical, cultural and natural value of the area.

The route starts at Ereñotzu, located at kilometre 5.6 on the GI-3410 road linking Hernani with the Navarre town of Goizueta, and is particularly interesting for discovering the industrial past of this area.
